Ritvik Sahore Discusses Playing Ujjwal Nikam’s Son in Prahaar

Actor Ritvik Sahore is set to star as Aniket Nikam, the son of celebrated lawyer Ujjwal Nikam, in the upcoming film Prahaar: The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam. Rajkummar Rao portrays the lawyer in the movie, which also features Wamiqa Gabbi and Jaideep Ahlawat and is scheduled for a cinematic release on October 16, 2026.

Reflecting on his role, Sahore shared that it was an honour to play Aniket Nikam and explore the character's relationship with his father and family. He noted that the film highlights how the family served as a support system while Ujjwal Nikam fought for justice for India.

Sahore's career includes acting credits in Ferrari Ki Sawaari, Dangal, Flames, Indori Ishq, Campus Diaries, Jamnapaar, and Highway Love. He has also received recognition for his performances in Gauru: Journey of Courage and To Remember Me By, alongside a Screen Awards nomination for Best Child Artist for Ferrari Ki Sawaari.

Discussing his interest in the project, Sahore pointed out that while many films cover the events of the night of 26/11, fewer focus on the courtroom proceedings that followed to establish the crimes of Ajmal Kasab, calling it an important chapter that needed to be told.

He also described working alongside Rajkummar Rao and director Avinash Arun as an enriching experience.
