Riz Ahmed Names Huma Qureshi Among Indian Actors He Wants to Work With

Riz Ahmed has named Huma Qureshi as one of the Indian actors he would like to collaborate with, praising the journey she has built in the entertainment industry. During a recent conversation, Riz stated that he likes Huma, considers her a friend, and believes she has carved out a wonderful journey for herself.

The two were most recently seen together at the Emmys, where Huma was the only Indian actress in attendance as she expands her presence across global entertainment platforms. Huma's international visibility has included appearances at major global events such as Cannes, the Emmys, and Paris Fashion Week, alongside the global reach of her film Baby Do Die Do.

Baby Do Die Do reportedly emerged as the No. 1 Hindi-language film on Netflix and entered the Top 10 in 12 countries, bringing the story of an Indian desi hitwoman to international audiences. Huma has worked across both Hindi cinema and international projects.

While no new project featuring the two has been announced, Riz's mention of Huma among the actors he wants to work with highlights their professional association. Additionally, Women in Film India recently launched an exhibition programme featuring screenings of Riz Ahmed and Sheeba Chaddha's Hamlet.
