In an interview with PEOPLE, Craig Grove described RJ as super kind, thoughtful, down to earth, humble, and not arrogant. Grove stated that RJ thought about other people first, would talk to anyone who approached him, and was dedicated to promoting people with disabilities in the arts and in Hollywood.
