Ryan Scott Defends Ex-Wife Gypsy Rose Following Ken Urker's Death

Ken Urker’s sudden death has brought Gypsy Rose Blanchard back into the spotlight. Ken and Gypsy previously met while she was serving prison time for conspiring to kill her mother, Dee Dee, and Ken had proposed to her during a prison visit in October 2018.

Following Ken's death, his sister Autumn called out Gypsy for leaking the news of his death to the media. However, Gypsy's ex-husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, came to her defense during an appearance on The Sarah Fraser Show podcast, stating that he does not believe Gypsy had anything to do with the death.

Gypsy Rose told PEOPLE that she believes Ken Urker died of an overdose on Thursday, October 1, 2026. Reports indicate that Ken was found dead at his Louisiana residence on his 34th birthday. Ryan Scott also revealed during the podcast episode that he reached out to Gypsy's dad following the sudden tragedy.
