Saba Pataudi Recalls Being Diagnosed with a Brain Tumour at Age 27

Saba Pataudi, sister of actors Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan, has shared her experience of being diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 27. In a conversation with Soha, Saba recalled that the incident occurred suddenly and without warning.

Saba explained that she initially thought she was experiencing stomach discomfort or low blood pressure before fainting outside a building. After regaining consciousness, she underwent an MRI scan and further investigations. While doctors initially suspected a colloid cyst, she was later diagnosed with a benign tumour.

Reflecting on learning that she needed brain surgery at a young age, Saba described the emotional toll, stating that the news left her feeling numb and that she frequently found herself crying unexpectedly. She also noted concerns about potential dependency on others and discussed her treatment process with her doctors and her mother, whom she referred to as Amma.
