Saif Ali Khan Discusses His Love for Ghee and Still Awaits KBC Prize

Saif Ali Khan Opens Up About Ghee and KBC Prize

Saif Ali Khan's excitement over ghee has become a talking point on social media after a light-hearted moment on Kaun Banega Crorepati turned into a running joke. The actor appeared on the quiz show alongside Akshay Kumar, where he learned that answering the tenth question correctly would unlock a two-year supply of Gowardhan Ghee. His enthusiastic reaction quickly became a viral meme.

The joke later resurfaced on Netflix's The Great Indian Kapil Show, where Saif appeared with his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan. During the episode, when asked about the secret behind their youthful appearance after 14 years of marriage, Saif playfully credited ghee, while Kareena noted that it is a regular part of their household.

Addressing his affection for the ingredient, Saif explained, “It started off as a light joke, but it became such an amazing thing. We have so many good uses for ghee. I like cooking also, and I think cooking chicken in ghee is one of the most amazing things. My wife has many nutritional ideas. She even massages it on her feet, which is a really good Ayurveda, joke aside. It also helps you sleep very well. Ghee has got incredible benefits, and I am going to benefit.”

Saif also joked about not receiving his prize cheque or the promised ghee supply. Directing a message to the brand, he stated, “To all the good people at Govardhan Ghee, I just want to tell you before things get really serious - I still haven’t received my ghee, and I am expecting it. So please, let’s honour our commitments!”
