Salman Khan Addresses AI Misuse on Bigg Boss 20
Salman Khan has raised concerns over the growing misuse of artificial intelligence on social media, specifically highlighting the creation of manipulated audio and fake videos featuring public figures. Speaking during an episode of Bigg Boss 20, the actor-host revealed that he has also been the subject of AI-generated content and called for legal action against individuals who deliberately create and circulate such material.
The discussion included the evolution of bullying and eve-teasing into online trolling. Salman emphasized that accountability is necessary for content shared and created online, distinguishing between individuals who unknowingly share AI-generated content and those who intentionally produce fake videos.
“Now, people who don't know it is AI-generated content might post that Salman Khan was there. But those who know this reality and still created the video, what kind of people are they? Now those kinds of people should be put behind bars,” Salman stated, adding that a law must be passed and social media censorship implemented.
Highlighting the broader issue, Salman noted that while celebrities can utilize cyber cells to trace the origin of such content, individuals without similar access or resources face greater difficulties when targeted by manipulated media. Previously on the show, Salman also spoke out against online trolling, including personal remarks and body-shaming directed at celebrities.
