Salman Khan Shares Personal Family History and Regrets on Bigg Boss 20
On Bigg Boss 20, Salman Khan discussed resolving conflicts, recalled his grandfather's initial objection to his parents' marriage, and shared how the birth of Sohail Khan brought about a reconciliation.
In a recent episode of Bigg Boss 20 Weekend Ka Vaar, host Salman Khan emphasized the importance of resolving conflicts early to avoid lasting regrets. Drawing from his own life, the actor shared a conversation with his father, Salim Khan, where he apologized for any shortcomings as a son.
Salman also discussed the background of his parents' marriage, noting that his maternal grandfather initially opposed the union because Salim Khan aspired to work in the film industry, not due to any religious reasons. According to Salman, his grandfather remained distant from the family for five years.
The rift ended when Sohail Khan was born, prompting Salman's grandfather to travel from Mahim to Bandra with sweets and express regret for missing out on time with his grandchildren. Salman stated that his grandfather lived with that regret until his last breath. He also recalled an instance when his mother returned home following an argument with Salim Khan, but her father refused to let her stay, telling her to return to her husband's house instead.
