Sanjeev Kumar Bijli Discusses Box Office Success of Drishyam The Conclusion and Upcoming Releases

Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Executive Director of PVR INOX Limited, discussed the strong box office performance of the exhibition sector spanning September and October, highlighting titles like Drishyam The Conclusion, Hanuman Ansh, Mirzapur The Movie, The Vvaan, and Doraemon: Castle Of The Undersea Devil.

Reflecting on the recent weekend, Bijli noted that admissions reached 30 lakhs, marking one of the highest numbers ever recorded by the company. He also addressed the innovative promotional offers utilized for moviegoers, the success of re-releases like Avengers Endgame: Encore, and strong performances from Hollywood titles throughout the year.

Looking ahead, Bijli expressed optimism regarding the upcoming release of Ramayana in November, predicting a blockbuster run. Additionally, PVR INOX plans to expand its IMAX screen offerings, with a new screen scheduled at Pacific Mall in Jaipur opening on October 11, and another planned for Chennai within the financial year.
