Sharon Stone Responds to Sydney Sweeney's Nude Sports Ad Controversy

Sharon Stone Reacts to Sydney Sweeney's Controversial Ad

Sydney Sweeney recently faced backlash for a nude photoshoot and video advertisement for Novig, a sports trading and prediction market platform. The September 2026 campaign featured the actress bare-bodied with sports equipment covering parts of her body while performing mock sports.

Following criticism from female athletes and their partners—and Sweeney's response featuring athletes from similar shoots—her Euphoria co-star Sharon Stone shared her perspective. Speaking to PEOPLE at Variety's 2026 Power of Women: Los Angeles event on September 23, 2026, at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Stone stated that Sydney Sweeney needs to "take responsibility" for participating in the controversial ad campaign.
