Shweta Tripathi Takes Debut Production Mujhe Jaan Na Kaho Meri Jaan to TIFF 2026

Shweta Tripathi has taken her first feature film as a producer, Mujhe Jaan Na Kaho Meri Jaan, to international film platforms, marking a new phase in her career beyond acting. Following its journey to the Berlin International Film Festival, the project was presented at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2026.

Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sanjoy Nag, the queer love story stars Tillotama Shome and Shweta Tripathi. Tripathi's participation at TIFF 2026 was supported by her selection for the WIF India x Gold House Scholarship, which allowed her to present the project at the Gold House Pitch to international producers, financiers, and executives.

Before moving into film production, Tripathi launched her theatre production company, AllMyTea, in 2010 with the queer drama Cock, written by Mike Bartlett. She continues to balance acting with her expanding work as a producer.
