Smriti Irani Bids Farewell to Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 and Honors the Crew

Actor-politician Smriti Irani marked the conclusion of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 by sharing a behind-the-scenes video dedicated to the technical crew who worked on the show. In the footage, Irani is seen alongside co-stars Amar Upadhyay and Hiten Tejwani before turning the camera to introduce the production unit, the director of photography and his team, and the director along with the direction team.

Posting the video on social media, Irani wrote, “Before the curtains come down .. meet the people behind the magic,” while tagging the series and including heart emojis.

The series revisits the Virani family 25 years after the original show. The plot follows Tulsi Virani returning to Shantiniketan following a decade-long prison sentence after taking the blame for a family tragedy. Upon her return, she encounters a significantly changed household facing internal power struggles, unresolved conflicts, and generational differences, alongside returning rivalries and a focus on the next generation of Virani heirs, including Angad, Vrinda, and Karan.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms and airs on Star Plus in its flagship prime-time slot.
