Suhail Nayyar Details Physical Transformation for Spy Comedy Udta Teer

Actor Suhail Nayyar has shared details about the physical preparation he underwent for his role in the upcoming spy comedy Udta Teer, directed by Akash A. Kaushik.

In the film, Nayyar plays a layered and complex spy. To achieve the required physicality, the actor trained every day, followed a protein-heavy diet to build muscle, and sported a moustache. He also worked on his dialect to ensure it felt natural and rooted to the character. To familiarize himself with the genre, Nayyar watched spy thrillers such as The Family Man, Special Ops, The Night Manager, and Fauda.

Reflecting on the experience, Suhail Nayyar stated that the role gave him a chance to play a completely different avatar. He expressed gratitude to directors and producers, while also praising co-star Ayushmann Khurrana.

Udta Teer stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles, blending action with situational comedy in a story about an unwitting operative whose misadventures disrupt a high-stakes intelligence operation. The film is produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, features music by Sachin-Jigar, and is scheduled for a worldwide cinematic release on October 9, 2026.
