Suniel Shetty Reacts to Tiger Shroff Firing Incident, Emphasizes Safety

Suniel Shetty Speaks Out on Tiger Shroff Firing

Actor Suniel Shetty has expressed concern regarding the recent firing incident involving Tiger Shroff in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Speaking at the naming ceremony of the ‘Bappi Lahiri Marg’, Shetty emphasized the need for greater safety and stated that the incident should not have happened.

Tiger Shroff was reportedly targeted on the evening of October 18 while leaving a football ground in his car. Unidentified motorcyclists allegedly fired multiple rounds at the vehicle. While Tiger escaped gunshot injuries, he reportedly sustained minor injuries from gunpowder and broken glass, and his driver was also injured.

Reflecting on the event, Shetty remarked, “The whole world loves Tiger and Jackie Dada, and if something like this can happen to him, it could happen to anyone. It shouldn't have happened.” He also praised Tiger's focus on sports and exercise, adding, “It is so, so important for us to stay safe.”

Shetty mentioned his long-standing friendship with Tiger’s father, Jackie Shroff, stating he hoped the situation would be resolved. He expressed relief that Tiger is fine and noted that the injured driver is currently recovering.

Police Investigation and Suspects Detained

The Mumbai Police launched an investigation into the incident. By October 19, three suspects were detained or arrested in Kota, Rajasthan, while allegedly trying to flee by train. Reports indicate the detained individuals include people from Haryana and Bihar.

Additionally, a social media claim attempting to link the incident to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has surfaced, though police have not verified this connection. The investigation into the motive and perpetrators is ongoing.
