Swanand Kirkire to Join Akshay Kumar in Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Samuk

Swanand Kirkire is reportedly the latest addition to the cast of Akshay Kumar and Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Samuk. The actor-writer is said to have an important role in the sci-fi action-survival thriller directed by Kanishk Varma.

Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah under Sunshine Pictures and co-produced by Aashin A. Shah, the film is currently shooting in London for a theatrical release. The project marks a reunion for Akshay Kumar and Vipul Amrutlal Shah after 13 years.

Kirkire and Akshay Kumar previously worked together on Pad Man, where Kirkire served as a writer, and Chumbak, which was presented by Akshay. Samuk is expected to bring the two together to share screen space, though specific character details remain undisclosed.

The reported ensemble cast for Samuk includes Akshay Kumar, Rukmini Maitra, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Rajat Kapoor, alongside Kirkire. Makers are keeping character and plot details confidential to protect the storyline.
