Sydney Sweeney Refused to Let Showmakers Cut Her Nude Scenes in Euphoria
Sydney Sweeney reportedly opposed the removal of her nude scenes from Euphoria, according to creator Sam Levinson.
Sydney Sweeney, known for her role as 'Cassie' in Euphoria, opposed the removal of her bare-body on-screen scenes from the final cut of the project. Despite public backlash and scrutiny over her on-screen nudity, the actress felt there was nothing wrong with filming such scenes if the character demanded it.
According to Euphoria creator Sam Levinson, showmakers considered omitting the nude scenes due to potential public reaction, but Sydney herself was against the idea. Levinson stated in an interview with The New York Times that he and Sydney share a chill bond and that she freely expressed her creative opinions on set.
