Taapsee Pannu and Kanika Dhillon Celebrate Gandhari Success with Netflix

Gandhari Success Celebration Held with Netflix

The team behind Gandhari recently gathered with Netflix to celebrate the film's global response on the streaming platform. Actor Taapsee Pannu, writer-producer Kanika Dhillon, and members of the cast, crew, and Netflix team attended the event to mark the project's reach in international markets.

This project marks Kanika Dhillon's fourth consecutive collaboration with Netflix, following Haseen Dillruba, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, and Do Patti. For Dhillon and Taapsee Pannu, Gandhari is their third successful collaboration together, moving from previous relationship-driven stories into the action-thriller genre.

Directed by Devashish Makhija, Gandhari stars Taapsee Pannu alongside Ishwak Singh, Chhaya Kadam, Swastika Mukherjee, and Mita Vashisht. The story follows Bani, a mother searching for her abducted daughter in the fictional town of Joypurra. During week 2, the film reached No. 1 globally with 9.6 million Netflix views.

Reflecting on the reception, Taapsee expressed appreciation for the audience response, while Dhillon thanked viewers and acknowledged Netflix for supporting Indian stories aimed at international audiences.
