Tahar Raj Bhasin Discusses Netflix's Shaque and Working with Parineeti Chopra

Actor Tahir Raj Bhasin opened up about his role in director Rensil D’Silva’s Netflix show Shaque: Don’t Trust Anyone, in which he plays Alok, a character that initially appears to be a supportive husband to Parineeti Chopra’s character, Anvita, before revealing layered and disguised intentions in later episodes.

Speaking about working with Parineeti Chopra, Bhasin noted that working with her felt like meeting someone from a college batch, sharing that both are from Delhi, had their first films produced by the same studio, and were previously handled by YRF Talent.

Reflecting on his career, Bhasin discussed his selection criteria for projects, his journey since his first big break in Mardaani, and upcoming projects including Vikram Phadnis’s Pal Bhar Ke Liye. He also expressed interest in exploring detective roles and all-out comedies in the future.

Regarding the status of Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhein Season 3, Bhasin shared that the project is currently in the writing stage as the makers focus on getting the script right.
