Tahir Raj Bhasin Reveals Vikram Phadnis’ Pal Bhar Ke Liye Is a Remake

Tahir Raj Bhasin is currently receiving positive responses for his Netflix show Shaque: Trust No One and will next appear in designer-turned-filmmaker Vikram Phadnis’ Hindi film debut, Pal Bhar Ke Liye. The movie also stars Saiyami Kher and Viineet Kumar Siingh.

In an exclusive conversation, Tahir shared that his character in the film is a softer, more emotional role that he has not explored before, serving as a "ray of sunshine and hope." He described the project as a very heartfelt, emotional, and personal story told by Phadnis, who previously directed the Marathi films Hrudayantar (2017) and Smile Please (2019).

Tahir revealed that Pal Bhar Ke Liye is a remake of an earlier Marathi film by Phadnis, stating, "He has already made this once in Marathi. So, he knew it frame to frame." Phadnis previously shared that the film is inspired by the last four years of his late mother.

Pal Bhar Ke Liye had its world premiere in August at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM), where it received acclaim. Tahir praised Phadnis's directorial clarity during the shoot, noting that the filmmaker knew exactly what he wanted from his actors. Following the Melbourne screening, Tahir expressed excitement for the film's upcoming release in India.
