Taran Adarsh Gives Drishyam The Conclusion a Standing Ovation and Praises Ajay Devgn
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed he gave Drishyam The Conclusion a standing ovation, praising Ajay Devgn's secure acting and his scenes with Jaideep Ahlawat.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed in an exclusive conversation that he rose from his seat and applauded during a preview screening of Drishyam The Conclusion, making it one of only two films he gave a standing ovation to this year, alongside Dhurandhar.
Adarsh highlighted a 15-minute sequence before the interval where Jaideep Ahlawat's character visits Ajay Devgn's home and speaks at length about a marriage proposal while Devgn remains largely silent. Adarsh praised Devgn for conveying emotions through his eyes and facial expressions rather than relying on heavy dialogue.
Calling Devgn a secure actor, Adarsh noted that the lead star did not demand extra lines or worry about being sidelined by a co-star. Instead, Devgn allowed Ahlawat to drive the scene, delivering a remarkable response at the interval point.
Adarsh also praised the casting of Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj, noting that putting formidable actors opposite Devgn creates an enjoyable confrontation for the audience. The ensemble cast also features Tabu, with Adarsh commending the contributions of the entire cast and calling the film brilliant.
