Cibelle Savella, 35, was scheduled to hand her daughter, Vivian Savella, over to her ex-husband, Aaron Savella, on Tuesday evening, September 29, 2026. Instead, Vivian was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound inside her mother's home.

The incident followed a lengthy and contentious custody battle between Cibelle and Aaron. According to court documents cited by local media, a judge had granted Aaron temporary exclusive rights earlier that day to determine Vivian's primary residence and make decisions regarding her education and medical care, while Cibelle's time with her daughter was restricted to continuously supervised visits.
