Trade Discussions on Akshaye Khanna Exiting Drishyam The Conclusion and Jaideep Ahlawat Stepping In

Trade experts discuss Akshaye Khanna walking out of Drishyam The Conclusion at the last minute, Jaideep Ahlawat stepping into the role, and the impact on the film's success.

Drishyam The Conclusion drew attention before filming began when Akshaye Khanna walked out of the project at the last minute. Jaideep Ahlawat subsequently stepped in, and many remarked that letting go of the well-etched character turned out to be Khanna's loss.

Vishek Chauhan, owner of Roopbani Cinema in Purnia, Bihar, described Khanna as moody and temperamental, noting that such occurrences happen repeatedly. Chauhan praised both Khanna and Ahlawat as fantastic actors and suggested that Ahlawat should receive commercial credit, comparing his raw energy and earthiness to Irrfan Khan.

Trade analyst Atul Mohan remarked that the situation came down to destiny, comparing it to past casting changes such as *Darr* and *Munna Bhai MBBS*. Mohan stated that the writing and treatment by Abhishek Pathak made the film a success.

Distributor and exhibitor Raj Bansal noted that the director was confident about the script and character, deciding to proceed without Khanna by casting Ahlawat instead. Bansal stated that if Khanna had been in the film, people would have given him 50% of the credit for its blockbuster success.

Additionally, producer Panorama Studios was noted for delivering five hits in a row, with trade members hailing the streak of Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.
