Vedika Pinto Discusses Industry Perception Shift Following Musafir Cafe

Vedika Pinto credits the response to Musafir Cafe with changing how the industry perceives her as an actor. Her role as Sudha in the series has earned viewer appreciation, marking a new phase in her career following her critical recognition in Nishaanchi.

Reflecting on the shift, Vedika noted that while working with Anurag Kashyap on Nishaanchi established her as a serious actor through critical acclaim, it was not initially enough to make the industry bet on her due to the film's commercial performance. However, Musafir Cafe brought audience approval.

"The industry now looks at me as a good actor who is also liked by the audience, which, I guess, makes me a more interesting option for makers," Vedika stated. She shared that she is now being welcomed into production houses, meeting producers and directors, and having script options for the first time in her career.

The combination of critical appreciation from Nishaanchi and wider audience acceptance from Musafir Cafe has increased her visibility and brought new opportunities.
