Vidyut Jammwal Holds Breath for 16 Minutes at Street Fighter Event

Vidyut Jammwal attended the launch of the new teaser for Street Fighter, featuring him as the iconic Dhalsim in his Hollywood debut. Towards the end of the media interaction, Vidyut stunned attendees by holding his breath for an incredible 16 minutes, completing the challenge with tears streaming down his face while remaining completely focused.

When asked if his Street Fighter co-stars were shocked by his stunts, Vidyut replied that they were amazed and described having one of the best experiences of his life surrounded by 11 legends from around the world. He credited his fans for making the opportunity happen, noting that he had not dreamed of it himself.

Regarding preparation for the role, Vidyut stated he did nothing different because the director had seen all of his past films. The only decision he faced was whether to shave his head, though prosthetics eliminated the need for it.

Addressing concerns about performing dangerous stunts, Vidyut remarked, “When I do a stunt and people tell me, ‘Aise mat karo kyunki log copy karenge’, I want them to copy kyunki maine bhi copy kar kar ke hi seekha hain!”

Street Fighter is set to release in theatres in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on October 16.
