The couple got married in January 2012 and share a daughter named Kimaya. They separated in 2025, after 13 years of marriage.
Rumours regarding their separation initially began circulating in March 2023, when Preeti posted a cryptic message on Instagram alongside a picture with their daughter Kimaya, stating: "Out of all the lies you told me- I Love You was my favourite. I Miss you was the second best. Major missing happening."
