Vishal Chaturvedi Discusses Telugu Release of Hanuman Ansh in Hyderabad

Writer-director Vishal Chaturvedi spoke at a press conference in Hyderabad about the Telugu release of Hanuman Ansh and the high demand from Telugu audiences. During the event, Chaturvedi stated, “Hyderabad is the land of Hanuman. Whenever I come to Hyderabad or nearby places, I see tall, tall Hanuman murtis every few kilometres. I thought we are the bigger Hanuman bhakts in the North, but when I came here, I felt Hanuman ji is everywhere.”

Chaturvedi expressed gratitude to the Telugu audiences for wanting to experience the film in their language and credited Javed sir and Hombale Films for supporting the release and bringing the movie from Mumbai to Hyderabad.

Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers also attended the event and discussed the film's box-office performance, reacting to reported figures of a Rs. 400 crores collection against a Rs. 2 crores budget by calling it “a slap on our face.” Shankar added, “Though we are spending crores of money, we aren’t sure how much the films will earn. Hanuman Ansh is the real Pan-Indian film. I request the makers to release it in whatever language possible.”

With the Telugu release, Hanuman Ansh expands from a Hindi-language success into a wider Pan-Indian phenomenon.
