Meet Kate Upton's Husband, Justin Verlander
Kate Upton recently appeared alongside her husband, Justin Verlander, during the Detroit Tigers pregame retirement and career celebration ceremony at Comerica Park. The couple was joined by their children, 7-year-old Genevieve and 1-year-old Bellamy.
Justin Verlander was born and raised in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia. He played Little League at Tuckahoe Little League in Richmond, Virginia, and subsequently attended the Richmond Baseball Academy. For college, he attended Old Dominion University (ODU) and played college baseball for the Monarchs.
His professional baseball career began when he was selected as the second overall pick in the 2004 MLB Draft, signing with the Detroit Tigers. The couple has been married since 2017 and shares two children.
