Yami Gautam Opens Up About Husband Aditya Dhar on Kon Honar Crorepati

Yami Gautam recently spoke about her relationship with filmmaker husband Aditya Dhar during an appearance on Sony Marathi's Kon Honar Crorepati. The actress appeared on the show alongside Adinath Kothare to promote their upcoming film Nayyi Navelli, interacting with host Madhuri Dixit.

During the conversation, Yami discussed how watching Madhuri's films influenced her childhood views on romance, noting that while on-screen love stories inspired dreams of grand gestures, her actual relationship with Aditya is much more understated. She shared that both she and Aditya are reserved and completely non-dramatic people.

Yami also recalled meeting Aditya on the set of the 2019 military action film Uri, which he directed and in which she had a pivotal role. Although they did not speak much while filming, the promotional campaign allowed her to observe his core and family values. She praised him for never getting angry, respecting everyone, being passionate, and remaining centered.

The couple's relationship began with their collaboration on Uri and led to their marriage in 2021. Yami noted that finding a partner with shared values is very significant, and expressed that she feels lucky to have him as her husband.
