Yash Makes Emotional Appeal at Ramayana Event, Urges Fans to Protect Producer Namit Malhotra

Yash Speaks at Ramayana Pre-Release Event

Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, Rakul Preet Singh, Ravie Dubey, producer Namit Malhotra, director Nitesh Tiwari, and Andhra Pradesh-Telangana distributor Dil Raju attended the grand pre-release event for Ramayana in Hyderabad. Yash delivered the final speech of the day, requesting support for Namit Malhotra's vision.

Yash stated, “Anybody can make a movie. Anybody can dream of making a film. But only a few people will have that kind of passion, dedication, determination and madness. As Indians, I am telling you, we need to protect this guy (Namit Malhotra). It’s our responsibility because this man was comfortably doing business.” He shared that Malhotra's goal was to elevate the Indian film industry to a global level, which inspired Yash to collaborate with him as an actor playing Ravana and as a producing partner.

Highlighting the scale of Malhotra's efforts, Yash remarked, “He has made a gamble. He has put his reputation, his money and everything at stake to put this film on a global platform. If people like cinema, they’ll talk about it. But please don’t try to find small faults in the VFX. It’ll never happen again. If we lose people like him now, we’ll go back many years. So, let’s watch Ramayana with an open mind.”

Ramayana releases in cinemas worldwide on November 5, with advance bookings opening on Dussehra.
