Zeenat Aman Calls Alia Bhatt a “Showgirl” Following Love & War Look Reveal

Following the reveal of Alia Bhatt's first look from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War, veteran actor Zeenat Aman shared her appreciation for the actor's dramatic, cabaret-inspired appearance.

Alia shared two posters on Friday showing her character performing on stage in a feathered headpiece, a crop top, a skirt with a thigh-high slit, and boots. Zeenat Aman reacted in the comments by writing, "Well, well…SLB has unleashed a showgirl!"

Alia responded to the comment, revealing that Zeenat had been spoken about countless times on the set of the film. Zeenat also shared one of the posters on her Instagram Stories with the caption, "The 70’s are back and cabaret never looked this good!"

Love & War is written, directed, produced, edited, and composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. While plot details are under wraps, the project is reportedly set against the backdrop of war and revolves around a love story.

The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on January 21, 2027.
