Lust Stories 3 Review: A Reasonably Entertaining Watch with Interesting Concepts

LUST STORIES 3 features an ensemble cast including Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Vijay Varma, Gurfateh Pirzada, Ali Fazal, Radhikka Madan, and Aditi Rao Hydari. The film is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra, and Vishal Bhardwaj.

The film explores various couples caught in unique situations. Padma (Radhika Apte) and her best friend Shonali (Konkona Sen Sharma), unhappy with their respective sex lives with husbands Hemant (Vijay Varma) and Debendu (Abhishek Banerjee), decide to swap partners. In another story, pizza delivery boy Karan (Gurfateh Pirzada) connects with nail artist Lisa (Sana Thampi), unaware of his hidden side. Meanwhile, Varun (Ali Fazal) and Sailee (Radhikka Madan) decide to separate a few years into their marriage, leading to a complicated situation. Finally, set in 1987 Hyderabad, Saira (Aditi Rao Hydari) finds a unique way to articulate unfulfilled desires regarding her husband Badru (Siddharth).

The review notes that the stories offer interesting concepts and fine performances, making it a reasonably entertaining watch. However, drawbacks include a long runtime of 2 hours and 44 minutes, uneven storytelling, and a lack of bold, memorable lust-driven sequences compared to earlier installments in the franchise.
