Amit Sadh and Esha Deol Starrer PRATAP Releases New Song ‘Mai Vapas Aaunga’

With its theatrical release approaching, the makers of PRATAP, starring Amit Sadh and Esha Deol, have released a new song titled ‘Mai Vapas Aaunga’. Released on November 4, the track features vocals by Shashwat Singh and Pratigya, with music composed by Afzalali. The song offers a glimpse into the emotional aspects of the film, which is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on November 20, 2026.

Centred on the idea of a promise to return, ‘Mai Vapas Aaunga’ explores themes of love, memories, longing and hope. The composition focuses on the emotional bond between two people and the possibility of reunion despite distance and circumstances. The track also gives audiences a look at a more personal dimension of the narrative, which otherwise follows the journey of a police officer caught in an unexpected situation.

Speaking about the song, Amit Sadh stated that it beautifully captures an emotion that is both deeply personal and universal, bringing out a softer, more emotional side of PRATAP. Singer Shashwat Singh also noted that he wanted his vocals to carry a sense of longing and warmth.

Written and directed by Sachin Saraf, PRATAP follows Pratap Ranade, played by Amit Sadh, a decorated encounter specialist whose life takes an unexpected turn when he finds himself behind bars. The film also features Esha Deol, Seema Biswas, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Milind Gunaji in pivotal roles.

Produced by Pradeep Rangwani under the banner of UV Films, the drama explores themes of duty, loyalty, choices and accountability.
