Meethe Mein Kya Hai Explores Family Drama and Reunion
Meethe Mein Kya Hai tells the story of an architect named Jai Agarwal who attends a family reunion in Lucknow after his sister reveals she has secretly married.
Meethe Mein Kya Hai Synopsis
Meethe Mein Kya Hai is the story of a family reunion. Jai Agarwal (Ritwik Bhowmik) is an architect whose wife Tara (Kanikka Kapur) passed away two years ago in a car accident, and he has not yet moved on from her demise. Having distanced himself from his family, Jai initially informs them that he cannot attend the Diwali get-together at his nani's (Rohini Hattangady) residence in Lucknow.
However, his sister Sana (Dalai) calls to reveal that she has secretly married, requesting his presence when she introduces her husband Karam (Vikram Bakshi) to the family during the Diwali gathering. Jai reluctantly agrees and travels to his nani's house.
Upon arrival, Jai meets his mother Amrita (Ayesha Raza), father Ajay (Gaurav Sharma), mami Preeti (Tarana Raja), mama Rishab (Abhay Kaul), and their son Sid (Ayuushman Ghai). He also bumps into his nani's 13-year-old neighbour, Meera (Shivika Rishi), forming an unlikely friendship. A day later, Sana and Karam arrive, leading to family chaos.
