Stuntwoman Geeta Tandon Calls Out India Ke Top 1% Production Team

Bollywood stuntwoman and stunt director Geeta Tandon has shared a detailed social media post criticizing the production team of the Star Plus reality show India Ke Top 1%. Tandon alleged that she and her son experienced mistreatment and were made to wait for nearly nine hours on set after being invited as guests.

Hosted by Anil Kapoor and airing on Star Plus and JioHotstar, the game show features around 100 participants competing for up to Rs. 1 crore. Tandon stated that she agreed to appear on the program without payment to gain visibility. Having worked in the industry for over two decades as a body double and stunt director, she attended the shoot alongside her son after being repeatedly followed up with by the production team.

According to Tandon, she arrived at 12:30 PM with the expectation of filming within a few hours. Instead, she and her son waited in a tent through the day without proper communication or updates. When she confronted the team, production manager Jaydeep allegedly responded, “If they want to leave, let them leave. But they can't leave without signing.”

Tandon and her son left the set at 9:15 PM after nearly nine hours. While addressing Banijay Asia, Anil Kapoor, and Farah Khan in her post, she clarified that she did not know the extent of their awareness regarding the incident and did not claim they personally instructed the staff to treat guests that way. However, she emphasized that behind-the-scenes professionals and guests deserve basic dignity and respect, regardless of celebrity status.

At the time of writing, no response to the allegations had been issued by Banijay Asia, Anil Kapoor, Farah Khan, or the show's production team.
